organism’s that live on or in an organism of another species, known as the
host, from the body of which it obtains nutriment. Parasites
in humans can cause a number of problems, including diarrhea, fatigue, skin
rash, nervousness, asthma, anemia and more. It is estimated that there are over
100 different types of parasitic worms that can be found living in humans.

Roman Chamomile has been effective to help clear up
Bilharziasis (an infection caused by parasitic flukes of the genus Schistosoma) (Buckle,
191).
Lemon and Lemongrass has a long history of repelling
mosquitoes and is as effective as the chemical insect repellant. This can be a
preventative measure for parasites from mosquitoes (Buckle, 190).
Tea tree has been found to kill adult mites from the
occurrence of scabies (Buckle, 191).
